The higher the dungeon tier, the more difficult yet rewarding it becomes. ![]() Sacred Sigils must be used while on World Tier 3, and Ancestral Sigils may only be used while on World Tier 4. Sacred Sigils refer to tiers 1-20, and Ancestral is for tiers 21-100. These 100 tiers are then subdivided into two groups: Sacred and Ancestral. The highest dungeon tier is T100 at level 154. A tier's monster level is calculated by adding the dungeon's base difficulty (50) with your World Tier (WT3 or 4) and the dungeon's listed tier. A T1 dungeon starts at level 54, T2 is level 55, and T10 is level 63. Nightmare Sigils are divided into tiers, dictating the dungeon's level and overall difficulty. Glyph XP can be allocated at the end of every Nightmare Dungeon through a unique altar, spawning beside your character when the dungeon's core objectives are completed. Additionally, each Nightmare Dungeon will award Glyph XP which can be used to upgrade your Paragon Board's Glyph passives. This gear tends to be of Legendary rarity, although there is a moderate chance you'll receive a Unique instead. ![]() Successful Nightmare Dungeon completions will award bonus Gold and high-rarity gear. Some affixes can increase your damage, upgrade your evade ability, or increase how much loot monsters drop. For example, a dungeon might have the Lightning Storm modifier that causes lightning strikes to periodically target the player. The only major difference is the existence of Nightmare Dungeon affixes, modifiers that adjust the dungeon's difficulty. Nightmare Dungeons feature the same objectives and tileset layout as the non-corrupted dungeon. Using a new Sigil will override your currently active Nightmare Dungeon. Only one Nightmare Dungeon may be active at a time.
